International Service.

The World needs more Rotarians

The Rotary Club of Wrington Vale's International Committee is responsible for the club's fundraising projects for international charitable causes. As a Rotary pillar of service, it supports the aims and objectives of Rotary International in helping to foster peace, goodwill and understanding between nations, and it is active in fundraising in response to a range of humanitarian needs throughout the world.

The International Committee is also responsible for maintaining close links and friendships with other Rotary Clubs throughout the world and, in particular, with our long established twin club - the Rotary Club of Dourdan in France.

With a focus on health, education, disaster relief and other humanitarian issues, projects instigated by Rotarians in their local clubs, are supported by District and Global grants and the Rotarian network of volunteers worldwide, to make their ideas become reality.

You will find Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries. Our 1.2 million members have fun, enjoy friendship and share a commitment to improving lives at everything from local community to international level. Every Rotarian is a volunteer, dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian problems and using his or her skills, talents and abilities to provide practical help and raise vital funding when and where needed.
