Some of the details of how the club support youngsters in the airea



Rotary Youth Competitions

There are a number of opportunities and competitions aimed designed for Young People, these include;  Young Musician, Young Chef, Young Photographer, Young Writer, Technology Tournament, Youth Speaks, Young Citizen Awards, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award,) and Rota Kids.

During the year 2017-2018 Rotary Club of Verwood helped to support a number of Young People from the Verwood area with a donation towards trips to Peru and Bangladesh.

These trips were aimed at helping support the local communities with, Environmental conservation, Health issues, Housing, Water, Schools and Education.  Many of these projects are ongoing.

The Young People themselves were able to gain knowledge of other cultures, their life styles and their needs. There was also the opportunity to improve language skills such as Spanish.
