 Sri Lanka Update

Well I have had such a busy week planning an activity week for over 2000 children to take place in August over 15 locations. Anyone who thinks voluntary work is easy should give it a go! Believe me it is challenging, but I would not want it any other way. So there is lesson 2 below for my second week. I am sending it now as I am at school as students arrive in preparation for a trip I am running tonight to a famous landmark called Adams Peak. We will begin the 5 mile ascent at 12.30am and should get to the top at around 5am to see the sun rise. This is with 60 students and of course the mosquitoes and the leeches. I am preparing to tuck my trousers in my socks. I know I may look silly but believe me I would rather that than have leeches suck my blood!

I will let you know how it goes in next week's update.
