Group Study Exchange Team Visit 2 Oct 2007

Rotarian Dana McLendon and his team of Meredith Sullivan, Alyson Williams, Josh Perry and Terry VanEaton from Tennessee were with us for the day.

They first visited Pallion Engineering Co, followed by a trip to the National Glass Centre, where they had a demonstration of glass blowing.

After lunch at the Pullman Lodge Hotel, they were taken to the Winter Gardens and the Museum.  The day finished with tea in the Mayor's Parlour, hosted by our Mayor Councillor Leslie Scott.  He was able to tell them about the city's history and the redevelopment that has already taken place in recent years, as well as plans for the future.
