Sponsored Run for Polio Plus

Pupils at St Leonards School raised £5837-02 by a sponsored run for Polio Plus - have dented Bill Gates bank account.

Over 150 pupils took part in the sponsered run and ran with great enthusium. One boy asked Headmaster Andrew Donald (a former member of our Club) if they had raised enough to make Bill Gates bankrupt! Many of the children ran so well they may have bankrupt their parents and friends.

PE teacher Nicky Davidson (wife of member Peter) was hoarse shouting encouragement to all the pupils.

The pupils had all viewed the DVD on Polio Plus and were fully aware of where their sponsership money was going.
