Cheque for £1,000 presented to Sara Lee Trust by President James Slinn

President James Slinn presents cheque to Sara Lee Trust

President James Slinn met with Nikki Hawes and The Sara Lee Trust fund raising team at the new Therapy Centre in Sidley to present them with £1000 from the total raised by the Rotary Club during the Christmas Collections.

The purpose-designed Therapy Centre is tucked away behind their charity shop in Ninfield Road and provides a calm and therapeutic space in the heart of Sidley.  The centre is mobility friendly and accessible to all, providing a serene and welcoming environment for individual and group therapies, and counselling. A delightful walled sensory garden provides colour, scent and interest all year round.

On presenting the cheque James said that he hoped the money would help The Sara Lee Trust continue their invaluable work supporting families coping with cancer related illnesses.
