HEARTS & SMILES Golf Day

Last year saw another very successful and popular golf day for Smile4Wessex and Heartbeat charities, raising in excess of £8,000. I am sure all of you who attended and played, or simply came for the meal would agree that is was a great day and evening.

The Rotary Club of Guernsey are once again supporting this fundraising event for the two Wessex charities, Wessex Heartbeat and Smile4Wessex in 2016. These two charities, although UK based do a huge amount for Islanders who need to travel to the UK to support family and loved ones receiving treatment at Southampton General Hospital and offer a support scheme and accommodation, which hundreds of local people use every year.

This is an excellent way to support these two charities and also have a really great fun day (and evening) out. The format is the same (or similar) to last year with 9 of the 18 holes offering individual prizes as well as of course a winning team prize (see sponsors required notes attached). I am also pleased to report that as La Grande Mare have very generously kept their prices the same as last year we can also do the same.
