Speyside Way Extension Walk

The Club ran a Sponsored Walk from Aviemore to Kingussie to raise funds along the Speyside Way extension and the Badenoch Way. Organistions which benefitted included the Cairgorm Mountain Rescue Team and the local Foodbank.


Included in the money raised was £500 for the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team and over £300 for the Badenoch & Strathspey Foodbank.

The Club would like to thank all of the walkers and those who supported them and also those who helped the Club on the day.

'What We Do' Main Pages:

Abernethy Team were 3rd in District Final with 100 points, 3 behind the winners. A great result for a Primary 7 of only 12 pupils.

This year it was Abernethy Primary Schools Turn to progress through the Club 2024 competition and win through to the District Final after coming second in the Area Final where they came a very creditable third.

We sprang a surprise upon Donna and Victoria from Community ConnXions at the Concert. Donna for selling more than 30 tickets and organising busses and Victoria for helping organise us at te Half Marathon and to celebrate her retirement.

The Club held a Charity Concert featuring the RMB Scotland in aid of Chest, Heart and Stroke, Climb to Recovery and Rotary Causes at the MacDonald Resort Auditorium on 29th May 2024

2024 Charity Golf Tournament raised under £4,000 split between Highland Hospice and Rotary Causes.

In 2022-2r the Club purchased a Shelter Box for use wherever in the world it is required so that no family is without shelter after disaster.
