Rotary Young Chef Competition

Rotary Young Chef Competition 2012

Rotary Young Chef Competition

The Rotary Young Chef competition requires young people up to the age of 18 to produce a three course meal for two people, within two hours. For the second year in succession, this was won by Elise Mabbutt of Aylsham High School, against tough opposition from  City of Norwich School and Ormiston Victory Academy.

As with last year Elise who is now only 15 took part in the District Final which she won!  Elise took part in The National Final at Denham College, near Oxford on 21st April, where she achieved second place out of eight competitors.  All of the competitors, drawn from all over England and Wales, had been through the same rigorous elimination rounds at their Rotary club, district and regional levels.

Elise deserves our congratulations for such a superb and sustained  performance.
