Kids Out 2015

It is difficult to conceive that some children have never received a gift, never had a brand new toy, never walked on a beach or never been to a theme park; this charity aims to address some of these issues. 

This year the Bolton clubs including Westhoughton and Horwich took 25 youngsters and 9 staff from Rumworth School for a day out at Blackpool Zoo. All the children and some of the helpers wore blue identifying caps which helped distinguish them from the many other groups there. 

It was a lovely sunny day and the children enjoyed the many attractions on offer especially the sea lions who performed their skills and tricks so well. 

The day was spent wandering round this excellent zoo with so much variety, taking time to eat their packed lunch, and by 2.30 were well ready to return to the coach after a happy and successful day.
