Tools for Self Reliance

Information on the Club's involvement

This is a charity which refurbishes second hand tools to an 'as new' standard and ships them to targeted destinations in Africa. The name of the charity is self explanatory and operates to improve the life prospects of the recipients. This year we have collected a large quantity of tools from members, friends and supporters for delivery to the workshop in Manchester.

At the moment they are making an appeal for second hand sewing machines, so if anyone has one can they contact Andrew Thorne via Tools for Self Reliance in Contact us
