Students of Biddick Academy take part in Young Photographer and Young Writer

Biddick Academy Students receive their certificates

BIDDICK ACADEMY STUDENTS SHOW THEIR TALENTS

Six students from the Biddick Academy took part in the Young Photographer and Young Writer competitions recently held by the Rotary Club of Washington Forge.

This year’s theme was ‘Reflection’ and the judging panels commended them on the high standard of their entries. The winners were Chloe Sutton, 16yrs (Young Writer) and Georgia Pybus 15yrs (Young Photographer). Their respective pieces of work were entered into the Rotary North East district finals where Chloe was runner-up in the senior category of Young Writer.

After being presented with their certificates by Philip Hopps of Washington Forge Rotary Club, our six talented students are joined by Mr David Brodie, Head of Media.
