40's Weekend at North Thoresby

Sun, Aug 25th 2019 at 10:00 am- Mon, Aug 26th 2019 - 4:00 pm

Grimsby Rotary Club ran a stall of traditional fun and games in the Memorial Gardens to raise money for Charity.

Traditional Games

The club ran a stall of simple games of skill and chance to amuse children and adults alike.  The key safe proved very popular with some youngsters returning several times in their attempt to win the £10 note.  The bowling gave rise to some serious family competition whilst the mine field attracted over 100 flags each day.  Some contestants even managed to traverse the 'professional level' on the Buzz Wire.

Fun for All

Judging by the smiles on the faces in the photos, everyone had an enjoyable time and the stall raised some £240 for charity.
