About us

As club president for the Rotary year 2023-24, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in learning about our club and its activities.

We meet on most Monday evenings at Canterbury Golf Club, and we have many interesting guest speakers and social events planned throughout the year. Visitors and guests are always welcome at our meetings, whether you are a Rotarian from another club or someone who is just curious about finding out about who we are and what we do. To book attendance please contact the Secretary.

New members (from all walks of life) are always welcome if you are interested simply use the Join us link.

Our programme for the year is available on this web site and is regularly updated along with details of immediately forthcoming events.

But Rotary is not just about social evenings and fascinating guest speakers, we are at our heart, a service organisation. We have an active fundraising programme, supporting local, national and international causes in a range of areas of activity. Our support can range from simple traditional high-street bucket collections to supporting major local events such as the Canterbury Half Marathon in support of Pilgrims Hospice and organising public functions such as our annual quiz night in support of Shelterbox.
