About us

Tewkesbury Rotary Club - 70 years of serving the community of Tewkesbury and surrounding villages.

We are a friendly and active Rotary Club and meet weekly on a Monday at the Corse Lawn House Hotel for an early evening meal.  Roughly half of our meetings include a talk either from one of the Club's members or from an invited guest.

Our next big event is the annual bonfire and fireworks display which takes place on the Vineyards behind Tewkesbury Abbey on Saturday 3 November.  In addition to the bonfire and fireworks there will be a selection of fairground rides and stalls selling hot drinks etc.

For the current Rotary year, our new President Anne Bartholomew has chosen the theme of 'Health and Wellbeing'.  To that end, we will be partnering with the local Sue Ryder charity and the international charity Mary's Meals over the coming months; details of the fantastic work these organisations do can be found via the 'Links to other sites' option in the drop down menu (top left of the home page).  We will also, of course, continue to partner with the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (primarily via the Classic Vehicle Festival) and to support deserving causes specific to Tewkesbury and surrounding area.

See our calendar for details of our meetings programme and our 'What We Do' tab to get a feel for our Club's activities in the local community.

If you like the look of what we do and would like to find out more, click the 'membership enquiry' button at the bottom of this page.  There's no obligation and we look forward to hearing from you!
