Rotary in South East Cornwall
We now have a Rotary Club in East Cornwall in what is sometimes referred to as the forgotten corner ! The club is named Torpoint Eddystone as all Rotary Clubs must have a centre of population in their name and there are very few people living on the Eddystone !
Our Rotary, like all the clubs world wide, seek to help the local and some international communities whatever and whenever the need arises. Already, in our first twelve months of existence, we have raised money for Shelter Boxes, for Wheelchairs, for Assistance dogs, for Local homeless young people, for Education equipment, for Mercy Ships, for Aquaboxes and we have offered help to the local Parkinson Centre in Torpoint.
We raise the money largely by sponsoring events and support the local community. Read More
