About us

Welcome

We have a passion to make a difference in the Community, whether that community is in and around Shenfield, in Britain and Ireland or worldwide. We understand the personal benefits and power of volunteering and believe we can increase our reach and impact to our community and environment through membership of a service organisation that shares our values and has a global presence - Rotary International

This global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders and problem solvers see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves.

Our fundraising and voluntary work is centred in Essex but through Rotary’s own Charity, Rotary Foundation, we can also support Rotary International’s projects that work towards making a difference in the following areas:

  • Promote Peace and support Conflict Resolution,
  • Fight Disease
  • Provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene
  • Save Mothers and Children
  • Support education
  • Grow local economies
  • Protect the environment
