Every year in common with all other Rotary Clubs we collect thousands of pounds for our chosen charities. Our President this year has chosen to support:
Local charities: Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Action Medical Research WOW
International charites: Polio Plus, Shelter Box, Water Aid, & Mwabi Student Sponsorship .
March 20th Comic Relief Mile at Allerthorpe Park in asociation with Comic Relief.
From a mile to 6 miles Comic Relief benefitted from the fundraising endeavours of over 50 entrants of all ages with the participation of PMWRC members giving their time in organising , registration and marshalling the event alongside Allerthorpe Park staff.

May 6-8 Trip to Riga to meet the Rotary Club of Riga
May 28th Pock Pedal 2016 starting from the Football ground Pocklington. 25 60 and 100 Mile Sportif with over 250 entrants in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

July Pocklington Fete. Rotary Annual Duck race.
August 19 Golf Day at the KP Club Fundraising event in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Action Medial Research and Rotary Charities.
September 27th Club Charter Night at the York Marriott Hotel. Javelin A successful eveningenjoyed by members and guests.
