Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Peterborough Werrington

WERRINGTON ROTARY

Based in North Peterborough in ETTON, near Glinton.  It is our aim to help others whilst having some fun doing it.  We meet each Tuesday at The Golden Pheasant in Etton where we enjoy a pleasant meal and a drink or two, discuss ongoing projects with charities and projects in the local community, listen to speakers or plan the clubs future development.  We have female and male members and will always welcome anyone interested in finding out more about Rotary and our club.

Major Projects:-

Fancy a Swim Anyone??

Rotariswim Sunday 21st November 2010

A swimming challenge where teams of up to 6 swimmers seek to swim as many lengths as they can in 55 minutes.  The swimmers were sponsored individually or as a team.  Half the money raised is donated to Rotary Charities the other half is sent to charities of the swimmers' choice.  The event will be held at the recently refurbished Jack Hunt Pool - Click here for more details
