We brought Santa on his sleigh round the streets of Seaburn, Fulwell and Roker, finishing on South Bents on Sunday. The children were delighted and the public were very generous with their donations.

After the meal we were joined by teachers and the Rotakids Club from Redby Academy. They came to hear Rev'd Andrew Watson's Christmas message, which was an original way of telling the message through the sheep.

Nihad, from Rotary SR1, came to tell us about his China Trek to raise funds for NSPCC. It had been a tiring 5 days in a party of about 30 people, but he had enjoyed the experience and raised almost £6,000 for the charity.
