Every effort has been made to ensure that the original template pages for this site are W3C compatible.
However, as the content of pages is supplied by the club, such content may not be compatible.
Cookies:
We do not use cookies on this site to identify individuals, other than when a member logs into the members area. These are 'Session Cookies' which are destroyed when a member logs out of the site or closes the browser window - they are not stored long term on the user's computer. These are used so that a member can only log into his/her club etc.
We use Google Analytics to make sure our statistics are reliable.
Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. We do not collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.
We have some pages that link to external tools such as Google Maps and YouTube. These tools sit on Google’s web servers and you can find more information on Google's Privacy Policy here.
Some pages may have cookies used to integrate with Social Media sites, so that, for example, if you are logged into Facebook, you can 'like' pages.
We do not collect personal data in the public area of the site - if you complete a contact form, for example, your email address is not stored in a database for re-use, nor is any information passed to third parties.

The Rotary Club of Chichester Harbour (RCCH) (we) is a not for profit organisation Registered Charity No: 1128000 whose Trustees and Members are all volunteers and we have a legitimate interest in holding and using the Personal Data of our Members and of those non-members who participate in and support our activities and events. We will never sell or use your personal data for commercial marketing purposes or for personal gain.
Your Personal Data:
The personal data we hold about you is only that provided by you or provided by others with your consent (e.g. by BT MyDonate) and typically includes your name, email, postal address and telephone number.
Confidentiality:
Whilst we will take care to keep your personal data strictly confidential, secure, under periodic review and for no longer than necessary, we will never sell it or deliberately share it with any third party except with your explicit consent or by lawful requirement.
Use of Members Personal Data:
We will use Members personal data for the purposes of maintaining Club membership records, club administration and accounts, organising and managing club activities including meetings, events, raising and collecting gifts, donations and charitable funds, obtaining gift aid, collecting membership fees, disseminating rotary news, services and information to members, to facilitate communications between members and co-operation between the Club, Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland (RIBI), our RIBI District Council and other Rotary Clubs in UK and the European Economic Community and any other purpose in fulfilment of the proper conduct of Club activities in accordance with the objects of Rotary and the Club Constitution.
We will share (but not for sale) Members personal data with RIBI for use within the wider Rotary organisation and entry into the RIBI Data Management System (DMS) (See RI and RIBI Privacy Policies (https://my.rotary.org/en/privacy-policy) (https://www.rotarygbi.org/privacy-policy/) and we may retrieve some or all of members personal data from the RIBI DMS for any or all of the above uses.
Use of Non-Members Personal Data:
We will use Non-members’ personal data for the purposes of administration and follow-up of any event in which they did or intend to participate or support; informing participants and supporters of other events to be run by the club; collection, receipt storage and distribution of gifts, money, gift-aid and all types of donations and contributions; inclusion, with their consent, of spouses or family partners in the club directory or handbook; any other purpose for which we have your unambiguous and informed consent. We will not sell or without your explicit consent share your data with RIBI or any other third party.

Any enquiries relating to this Privacy Notice or to request, delete or amend your personal data please contact the Club secretary secretary50918@outlook.com for action within 30 days or if not satisfied with the result you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
